Dr. Svetlana Belsky
Critically acclaimed as "a passionate pianist and scholar," Svetlana Belsky is an in-demand recitalist and chamber pianist, noted for her remarkable rapport with audiences and stylistic versatility. She has appeared in Italy, Ukraine, Russia, Poland, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong, and throughout the United States. Dr. Belsky has received awards both for her performances in international piano competitions, and for her advocacy of new American music. Called the pre-eminent American scholar of Ferruccio Busoni’s pianistic legacy, Belsky is the author of Busoni as Pianist (Eastman Studies in Music). Her CD of Busoni’s late works (Ravello, 2019) is described as a “totally winning reading, as replete with technical ability and musical sympathy as the composer could wish for” (Fanfare). Her earlier recording of the Rite of Spring (Centaur) received the prestigious American Prize for 2018-2019.
Federica Severini is an italian violinist. She is a violin Professor at Conservatory Mascagni of Livorno, Italy. She was 1st Violin Tutti at La Verdi Symphony Orchestra in Milan and she won the Praktikum for Göttinger Symphonieorchester. She was invited as Concertmaster in Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto in year 2021.
Dr. Yoana Kyurkchieva
Yoana has enjoyed a dynamic musical career as a concert pianist, pedagogue, and adjudicator. Her mission is to prepare students to exceed their creative an artistic talent in cultivating a musical way of playing with sensitive tone quality. Yoana's students have received first class honors and medals in RCM exams, and have been also recognized through awards and scholarships locally, nationally, and internationally in music festivals, competitions, and master classes.
Martina Iacò, born in Palermo in 1995, began studying viola at the age of 7. She studied at the Conservatory of Salerno with M°Alessandro Santucci graduating in 2014 with highest marks: Ten, Honors and Honorable mention; In 2017 she obtained a Diploma in Master of Arts in Music Performance in the Svizzera Italiana’s Conservatory in Lugano with M°Danilo Rossi. She was awarded with scholarships and concerts as soloist: the FI.DA.PA as the best evaluation in the Conservatory of the academic year playing the Concert for viola and orchestra of Telemann and the Concert for viola and orchestra of J.C.Bach; In the Theatre Augusteo of Salerno she play the Sonata per la Gran Viola of Paganini. She studied with the best viola’s musicians like:M°Bruno Giuranna, M°Simonide Braconi, M°Danilo Rossi, M°Alexander Zemtsov, M° YuriyBashmet, etc. Also, she’s very active in the orchestral field: Project Orchestra "Vicenza", Young Talent Orchestra EY in Roma with M°Carlo Rizzari, Mannheimer Philarmoniker, Ljubljana International Orchestra, Arena di Verona, Orchestra Luigi Cherubini, Accademia del Teatro alla Scala, LaVerdi in Milan, LaFil in Milan and since 2016 she play with Filarmonica della Scala in Milan; She worked with big artists and conductors like: Riccardo Muti, Leon Spierer, Daniele Gatti, Zubin Mehta, Christopher Eschenbach, Daniele Rustioni, Sir Antonio Pappano, Daniel Oren, Andreas Ottensamer, Maurizio Pollini, David Geringas, Silvia Careddu, Anna Loro, Giovanni Sollima, Sol Gabetta, Mischa Maisky, Salvatore Accardo, etc. She’s invited to participate to the audition of the Akademie H.Von Karajan of Berliner Philharmoniker, Concertgebouw Academy and Concertgebouworkest. She won lots of 1°Prizes and special prizes both as a soloist and in chamber music: Special Prize in Premio Nazionale delle Arti in 2013, Premio Abbado in 2015, IV Stockholm International Music Competition 2015, etc. She also have lots of chamber music experiences: she played with “Campania String Quartett”; the quartett was chosen to M°Roberto De Simone for playing in the Opera “Pergolesi in Olimpiade” at San Carlo’s Theater in Napoli. She recorded a CD’s for “Falaut Campus”. From this year she play in quintet with M° Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi. She played, also, for the event "Teachers and Students” in concert to play in chamber music with M°Massimo Quarta, M°Danilo Rossi and M°Enrico Dindo playing String Sextet of J.Brahms n.1 op.18 in Lugano.
Sancho Almendral , was born in Sevilla in 1991. He began studying cello at the age of 6 with M° Dirk Vanhuyse. From 2002 until 2007 he studied at the Barenboim-Said (Sevilla,Spain), receiving lessons from Elena Cheah (Hochschule Freiburg) and from the big conductor and soloist Daniel Barenboim. In 2007 was admitted as student in the “Centro de Excelencia de Cuerda” de La Rioja (Spain), where he will do lessons and masterclasses with great European teachers like: Philippe Muller (teacher at National Conservatory in Paris), Kazimierz Michalik (teacher of the Conservatory “ Frederick Chopin” in Warsaw), Michael Dmochowsky (teacher in “Reina Sofia” school, Madrid). He continued his studies with M°Asier Polo in Madrid, and he graduated in 2015 with the highest marks in Conservatorio Superiore di Musica “Manuel Castillo” in Seville. In 2017 he obtained a Diploma in Master of Arts in Music Performance in the Svizzera Italiana Conservatory in Lugano with the prestigious cellist Enrico Dindo. He received, also, the “ Prize Ambassador” for his professional and academic career. He has a big orchestral experience, he was also Soloists of cello ensembles in differents European orchestras like: Santa Cecilia Orchestra (Madrid), Symphony Orchestra (Almeria), Emilia Romagna Concerti, Young Musician Orchestra, European Royal Ensemble, I Solisti di San Severo, etc. He worked with greats musicians and conductors like: Daniel Barenboim, Daniele Rustioni, Silvia Careddu, Anna Loro, Andreas Ottensamer, Bruno Philippe, etc. Also he’s very active in chamber music, he’s member of many groups in Italy and Spain, which he join the concert activities, being invited in different festivals as chamber music as soloist all around the world; currently he’s working in quintet with M°Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi. From 2019 he was admitted as permanent student at the conducting course run by M°Miguel Romea, one of the most prestigious Teacher of Spain. Sancho, in addition to being a brilliant classic cellist, he gets involved in other musical genres, like flamenco or contemporary dance, being part of many creative groups in various shows like: “Don Quixote” (Parigi, Chaillot Theater), “12 Tiempos” (Seville, Spain), “La tentacion de Poe” (Seville, Spain), and he worked, also, as composer for the soundtrack of “La Cocina de los Angeles” for the Dance International Festival of Italica and the show “Céfalo y Pocris” by C.De La Barca I’m the International Festival of Classic Theater in Almagro (Spain)
